Xiaomi 15 Ultra Full Specs and Last-time Hardware Changes

The Xiaomi 15 Ultra is the biggest upgrade ever in the Xiaomi series, with exceptional display performance, a groundbreaking leap in its camera system, and the largest battery capacity in Xiaomi’s history.

The Xiaomi 15 Ultra has now been certified by 3C in China and will be available in the Chinese market in the next few weeks. It will then be available in the USA, UK, Canada, Germany, and other countries.

A report came from Lao Wei, the general manager of Xiaomi’s mobile phone marketing department. She says that the Xiaomi 15 Ultra will be released globally with no delay in February 2025, which means we should be expecting this flagship next year, though the precise date hasn’t been disclosed yet.

In early November, various leaks stated that the Xiaomi 15 ultra is going to be a flagship killer that is looking to impress photographers and power usage alike but will still have a similar look to the Xiaomi 14 ultra but this time there’s a slight difference in the camera lens arrangement and battery life.

In early November, various leaks stated that the Xiaomi 15 Ultra is going to be a flagship killer that aims to impress photographers and power users alike but will still have a similar look to the Xiaomi 14 Ultra. However, this time, there’s a slight difference in the camera lens arrangement and battery life.

Here’s what we know so far about the Xiaomi 15 Ultra

Display & Design

Xiaomi 15 Ultra This flagship has not been released yet, but leaks have shown that the Xiaomi 15 Ultra not only boasts its camera capabilities but also features an impressive and beautiful display that will appeal to several users.

Rumors suggest that the Xiaomi 15 Ultra will have a similar look to the Xiaomi 14 Ultra. We might be getting curved edges and a smooth finish at the back.

However, we shouldn’t expect too much from this flagship because, this time, we will be getting the same 6.73-inch panel with a 120Hz refresh rate, which promises vibrant colors, deep contrast, and an infinite amount of scrolling without any lag, providing an immersive viewing experience. Speaking of the display, the Xiaomi 15 Ultra features a 2K LTPO OLED display and a micro-curved design.

The back of the device might be covered with a luxurious material made by Xiaomi called nano-tech vegan leather, which is durable against dust, wear, and damage.

The logo of the Xiaomi 15 Ultra will be vertically placed at the bottom left. Narrowing down to its design, Xiaomi has made the phone look more luxurious and charming at every glance. The Xiaomi 15 Ultra comes in three different styles: plain leather, fiberglass, and ceramic.

Chipset & Software

Behind this device, the Xiaomi 15 Ultra is expected to come with the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset. but leaks have stated that the Xiaomi 15 Ultra will allegedly run on HyperOS 2-based Android 15, a processor known for its energy efficiency, high-performance standards, immersive viewing experience, and ability to combine Xiaomi’s unique software features with the latest Android upgrade.

This makes the Xiaomi 15 Ultra well-suited for handling demanding applications, gaming, and multitasking with ease.

This will be one of the most powerful devices on the market after launch, and we should expect a dynamic change in speed and accuracy when using multiple applications and gaming at the same time. You won’t have to worry about overloading the Xiaomi 15 Ultra. Rumors suggest that AI features might be added, which are becoming increasingly essential for upcoming Android phones.

this new HyperOS 2-based software. It’s the latest software upgrade from Xiaomi, bringing a new visual user interface, improved vibrant animations, boosted performance, efficient power usage, and more.

Camera

Xiaomi 15 ultra Camera

The true highlight of any ultra phone is the impressive camera setup, which happens to be better than the previous Xiaomi 14 Ultra.

Rumors suggest that the camera might feature a 50MP ultra-wide lens with an ISOCELL sensor, a 50MP Sony IMX858 telephoto lens expected to provide a 3x optical zoom, plus a 200MP periscope zoom lens with a 4.3x optical zoom and a f/2.6 aperture for longer ranges. This will almost certainly use a combination of high megapixels and the usual AI sharpening techniques to capture really clear, detailed photos.

Rumors also suggest that the main camera sensor will be larger than the 1-inch sensor seen in its predecessor, which means we might expect a slight improvement over the Xiaomi 14 Ultra. The telephoto lens is rumored to have a physical focal length of around 25mm. the front camera is no slouch either featuring a 32-megapixel sensor and that’s all about the camera specs.

Battery Life and Charging

This is another area where Xiaomi aims to impress with the 15 Ultra, which is rumored to pack a massive 6,000mAh battery, a significant improvement over its predecessor, the 14 Ultra. With such battery life, you can be certain to use the Xiaomi 15 Ultra for more than 24 hours and still have some remaining battery for the next day.

If it’s correct, we should see a huge improvement in its charging speed for both wired and wireless charging. We might get 90W wired charging and 80W wireless charging. This device is built for extended use and also supports fast charging, enabling users to charge their devices at a faster rate.
